Travel For Less in 2011

Travel for Less

There comes a time when we all just need to disconnect from everything and get away from it all. For some, this means taking a week or two to travel to some exotic location. For others, it could just be a weekend away from home. Traveling is a great way to unwind and relax. But even for some people, travel is a part of their job. Regardless of your reasons for traveling, there is no reason that you should have to spend tons of money on hotels, airfare and other traveling expenses.

The well-worn traveler has probably already learned a few tricks to travel for less. But for those of you that are still looking for ways to pinch your pennies while away from home, there are MANY ways that you can save money while traveling.

Something as simple as choosing a hotel that offers a complimentary breakfast and a gym or workout room are perfect examples. By choosing such a hotel, you may have to pay a bit more for your room, but you’re also saving money on breakfast and rental fees at the local gym.

And speaking of hotel rooms…if your trip is for a vacation, you should REALLY consider looking for a timeshare rather than resorts or hotels. Sure, timeshare has gotten a bad reputation for the way it is sometimes sold, but there is actually quite a bit of money to be saved through timeshare.

Of course, there are plenty more ways to save, but since each trip is as unique as the person taking it, we’ll leave your cost-cutting methods up to you. To help you make better choices, check out some of the links on this page. Then pack your bags and hit the road to cheaper travel!
